Purpose
For the Children
Haven Of Rest Children’s Home is located in Juan Griego on Margarita Island, Venezuela, and is a ministry of Berean Baptist Church of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
We have been working with local Christians to acquire land, construct an orphanage, and register the home with the authorities. We greatly anticipate soon being able to care for needy and orphaned children. Please pray with us.

Building the Home
Construction Complete
In 2021 we purchased a partially finished building with some land. Our local team worked diligently to bring the building to completion. Most of the work was done by locals with some assistance from foreign visitors.
Now that construction is complete, we are working diligently to finalize the legal documentation for the home.
